about

we are honored to be working with centipede. a lofi beatsmith from the St Louis area. Vibrational Medicine is a journey through ups and downs. Hitting feelings of celebration with moments of longing and sadness.

Words from centipede:
So I'm dropping a new project. I've been sitting on this for about a year or so. And for a personal reason, this one is very near and dear to my heart.

Let's go back to 2013. This is the year I first started performing. I just got full time work, and moved out of my moms place. And I was super depressed. Not like suicidal or anything like that. In fact, I don't even like diagnosing myself like that, so let's just say that I was really down for awhile. I was downing myself for multiple reasons that I don't wanna get into right now because they don't really matter anymore, but I was mostly down because of myself. I hated everything about me, from the way that I looked, to my personality, to where I was in life. I kinda lost contact with some friends, and even family for a bit. I stopped caring about my hair to the point where I started growing dreadlocks. Fall of that year was probably the lowest point of my life.

Fast forward a couple of years. I joined up with this group of superhumans called Farfetched, and I put out a couple decent projects with them. My music became a lot more laid back, and I tried my hardest to spread nothing but positivity to every person I ever came in contact with. But I still wasn't at peace with myself. I was talking to a friend online about it, and she pointed me to this weird blog(Thank you Lareisa) and it was called....well I'll let you guess the name. Anyways, the blog talked about crystals and incense and oils and balancing your chakras and stuff like that. But what I got the most from it was how to be in control of the energy you let in your life, as well as what you put out into the world. So I made a few beats in the course of a week, and put it out as an ep, and named it after that blog. Until I took it down after a few months. It wasn't finished.

About a year and a half and a few haircuts later, here I am. With a finished tape, and a much more positive outlook on myself.

Thank you to everyone who has (un)knowingly helped me through this. Thank you to everyone who has been listening while I've been going through all of this growth. I'm almost there.

Spread love.
